About USCG Air Station Miami

Boasting the largest sampling of Moorish Revival Architecture in the Western world, Opa-locka was founded by an aviation innovator in 1926. Located in Miami-Dade County, Opa-locka has about 15,000 residents.
 
Opa-locka takes great pride in their parks and recreation department (COOL Parks) and provides extensive leisure activities for the residents of the community.
 
Air Station Miami is located in Opa-locka and it operates maritime patrol craft including the HH-65 Dolphin for search and rescue operations. There has been extensive construction over the years; it operates fixed-wing aircraft in addition to helicopters.
