About Offutt AFB

Offutt Air Force Base is home the Fightin' Fifty-Fifth, and a variety of partner units of the 55th Wing.  Offutt's global responsibilities result in diverse missions which put it near the cutting edge of the Air Force's transformation.  With approximately 10,000 military and federal employees assigned here, each branch of the US military is represented.  Offutt is a beautiful community situated in the rolling hills of southeastern Nebraska.

Nearby Bellevue overlooks the Missouri River. The city boasts an excellent educational system, technology infrastructure, park facilities and a low cost of living. Picturesque with its tree-lined streets, Bellevue offers activities for all of its residents.  

'Green Bellevue' is an organization dedicated to 'Helping Bellevue Bloom.' The group offers activities with an environmental conscience: farmers' markets, flea markets and other activities to promote green living.
