About Grissom Air Reserve Base
The 434th Air Refueling Wing is an Air Reserve Component of the United States Air Force assigned to the Fourth Air Force Command, stationed at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana, located 15 miles north of Kokomo, IN. The refueling base also supports the Navy & Marine Corps aircraft as well as aircraft of allied nations. The 434th is one of the Air Forces' busiest air refueling organizations, frequently deploying its aircraft around the world to support combat forces as part of the Global War on Terrorism.
